Back in 1993 I first discovered the joy of Reflexology and I was amazed at its power and the way it made me feel better. Reflexology aims to enhance overall health, and many people say it is profoundly relaxing to receive.
Over the years I have studied with many teachers of Reflexology. My professional training was under the guidance of international teacher Angela Sellens Drake, with whom I completed a Level 3 Reflexology Diploma.
Currently, I continue to attend advanced training courses to deepen my skills and knowledge.
Reflexology is an ancient therapy that has been practiced for over 5000 years and was brought to the western world 100 years ago. Reflexology is a form of natural w)holistic therapy using gentle thumb and finger techniques on specific points, called reflexes, which are found mainly on the feet and hands.
The reflexes correspond to various organs, systems and structures within the body. Congestion or tension in any part of the body is mirrored in the reflexes in the feet or hands. The hands and feet are said to be small maps of the entire body. The science of Reflexology targets the reflexes instead of working directly on the corresponding body part.
My sensitively trained hands can detect tiny deposits and imbalances and congestion by touching your feet and working on these reflex points can release blockages and restore the free flow of energy to the whole body.
Reflexology helps the body to restore its balance itself naturally. After a treatment your tension may be reduced and you may feel very relaxed. You may also notice as the tension releases you find yourself sleeping better. You are relaxed and your mood and sense of wellbeing improves. You may also find that other aspects of health improve for you on an individual basis.
The therapy is individually tailored to each person and every treatment I do is unique. Reflexology treats the whole person. My aim is to give you a wonderful treatment which usually lasts for an hour on just your feet and/or hands. I thoroughly enjoy giving treatments and many of my clients have been with me for many years.
Our world is a busy place. We often live pressured lives, and sometimes we forget to take care of ourselves. We know that many modern day diseases are often caused by our lifestyle and work. Many people who acquire illnesses believe that they are too busy to give time to themselves. You must act on your reflection of your own health and the best time to do that is right now.

I have been a complementary therapist as a British Wheel of Yoga Teacher since 1996. I teach a variety of people; beginners, intermediate, one to ones, groups, schools, ante-natal, and post-natal, in all age groups. Some people prefer to have a few private lessons with me, so you can feel more confident before you go on to join group classes.
My Yoga adventure began in 1991and I have experimented with various different styles and many different teachers with lots of ongoing training. Over the years have broadened my experience of Yoga which is the perfect antidote to stress and I highly recommend it to everyone.
